How the FAQ schema generator works
What is FAQ schema?
FAQ schema, or FAQPage structured data, is JSON-LD that labels the questions and answers on a page, so search engines and AI systems can read them without guessing.
Does FAQ schema still help in 2026?
Google shows FAQ rich results for only a few kinds of sites, but the markup still makes your answers clear and machine readable, which helps AI engines pick them up.
Where do I put the code?
In the page's head, or anywhere in the HTML. The questions and answers must also be visible on the page itself.
How many questions should I add?
Add the real questions your customers ask, usually 4 to 10 per page. Write each answer so it makes sense on its own.
